A stone throw away from the Kumarakom, rests the ferocious beauty, Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls, which is also one of the best places to see in Kottayam district. Kottayam is the major regional town, which is located 18 kms from Aruvikkuzhi Falls. The waterfall can then be reached easily by passing through the narrow pathways.

The waterfall is dry during the months of summer, but it starts splashing in the monsoon season. However, the best time to visit Aruvikkuzhi Waterfalls is after the monsoon i.e between September and February.
