A seasonal waterfall in the Kurumbalangode Village of Nilambur Taluk in Malappuram district, Adyanpara is one of the best waterfalls in Kerala. This beautiful waterfall is situated amidst the lush jungles and is said to have waters with medicinal properties. It is located, 15 km from Nilambur, which is known for being world’s largest teak plantation. During the summer season the waterfall dries up a bit but during the monsoon, it becomes a must see place in Kerala. Several exotic avifauna and migratory birds flock this sightseeing place, and thus add to its pristine and picture perfect surrounding.
Getting There:
This Kerala waterfall is 10 kms from Nilambur, which is close by Kozhikode-Ooty highway. Nilmbaur is 70 kms from Kozhikode City. The waterfall is located among hills, so a bit of trekking is required through the path that has slippery rocks.

Adyanpara is an ideal tourist spot to have a picnic. Apart from the waterfall, one can explore the surrounding forest, which is quite scenic. One can also visit
Nilambur, and world’s first teak museum, which is 4 kms away from town along the Gudallur Highway. Other nearby attractions to explore are Conolly Plot, Teak Museum, Nedumkayam, Kadalundi bird sanctuary, The Elembalai hill, Banglavu Kunnu and Thirumandhamkunnu Temple.

Monsoon season is the best time to visit Adyanpara Waterfall. Also, September to December is a feasible time as well.
