Taj Mahal and Gulmarg Skiing Tour

Start your day with a delicious breakfast, after which, you will head for a sightseeing tour of Delhi. Today, cover places such as India Gate War Memorial, Parliament House, President’s House, Secretariat Building, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, and Qutab Minar. You will also drive past Red Fort and will enjoy a Rickshaw Ride at the famous Chandni Chowk Market. You will also pay visit at Raj Ghat, the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi and Shanti Vana, the cremation site of Jawahar Lal Nehru.

After an eventful day of sightseeing, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Delhi.

Early morning, we’ll start our trip to Agra where we’ll first visit Taj Mahal, the symbol of eternal love standing on the bank of River Yamuna. The 5th Mughal Emperor – Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in the year 1631 in the memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It took 22 years to complete the structure. 

After witnessing Taj Mahal, we will visit Agra Fort (Lal Qila or Fort Rouge or Red Fort of Agra). It is the most important fort in India as it was once the ruling seat of Mughals. The fort comprises of gardens, palaces, halls and mosques.

In the evening, drive back to Delhi. Overnight stay at a hotel in Delhi.

In the morning, after the breakfast check out from the hotel and head to Delhi Airport to board a flight to Srinagar. Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport our representative / driver will pick you and drive you to Gulmarg. Our regular vehicle will drop you at Tangmarg, from there, a jeep will transfer you to the hotel. Upon arrival in Gulmarg, check in to the hotel and take some rest.  In the afternoon, you can enjoy skiing for which an instructor has been hired for your guidance with skiing equipment (skis, sticks, gloves & goggles).

Gulmarg is the most beautiful winter resort in the valley. It is popular for its highest golf course and skiing opportunity in winters.

From Day 04 to day 09, enjoy six full days of guided adventure skiing in the extensive backcountry, covering 4 different ski areas. 

Today, after the breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport to catch a flight for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be transferred to Delhi International Airport to catch a flight to your destination.

Important Information : Due to strict security, you are requested to leave from the hotel at least 4 hours before the departure time. You will have to pass 4 security barriers before reaching the airport. This often leads to long traffic jams right outside the airport.
