Kashmir Houseboat Tour With Gulmarg And Sonmarg

After breakfast, proceed to sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit the popular travel attractions of Srinagar Mughal Gardens, Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure), Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), The Chashme Shahi Garden & Shankaracharya Temple. The evening is free for shopping.

Overnight stay in Srinagar at a Houseboat.

After breakfast at the hotel, leave for a day excursion to Gulmarg, the drive past colorful villages and rice fields gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir.

Gulmarg is one of the most beautiful hill stations in Jammu & Kashmir and also called Meadow of Flowers. It has the world’s highest golf course (World Highest) and is also famous for winter sports skiing etc. But the most popular thing to include in the tour package in Kashmir is the Gondola Cable Car Ride to Khilanmarg. The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Apharwat Peak.

From here, you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley. We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour.

In the evening, return to Srinagar for overnight stay at Houseboat.

After breakfast at the houseboat, leave for a day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way, you can stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2,690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride a horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year.

In the evening, return to Srinagar for an overnight stay at the Houseboat.
