For sighting ferocious tigers in their natural habitat, Corbett is one of the best besides, it is simply a soothing place to be in the midst of nature. And what's best is that, in our 3N/4D package, you get a chance not only to spend time in the wild at Corbett National Park but also visit Agra and see the Red Fort and the white marble mausoleum the Taj Mahal. Our package will give you an insight tour around these two places, a city tour visiting the red sandstone fort and the UNESCO site the Taj. A tour in the wildlife at Corbett will take you inside the dense forest where you can sight tigers and other mammals as well as beautiful birds from the watchtower.
DELHI - AGRA (203 KMS, 04-05 HRS DRIVE )
Leave for Delhi after breakfast and on arrival, you can check in at the selected hotel in Agra. Later in the noon, go for a sightseeing tour around Agra and visit the Red Fort which was started by Emperor Akbar in 1565 and completed by his grandson, Shah Jahan. The fort contains beautiful structures and it is worth a visit. Other place is the famous Taj Mahal built in memory of Shah Jahan’s wife Mumtaz Mahal.
AGRA - CORBETT
The next day after breakfast you will be driven to Corbett and on arrival you can check in at a wildlife resort. In the evening, explore the beauty of Corbett followed by an overnight stay at wildlife resort.
Dhikala Jungle Safari
On day 3, you will be taken for an early jeep safari into the national park followed by breakfast. Later, you will be taken to Dhikala/Gairal Forest Lodge by a four wheeler. After lunch and some rest in the afternoon, you will be taken for a jeep safari to the grassland to witness the wildlife especially the ferocious tiger. In the evening, you can sit on the verandah and enjoy the breathtaking sight and sound of the wild. This will be followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Dhikala/Gairal Forest Lodge.
Dhikala Jungle Safari
Early morning, you can go for a jeep safari in Corbett and get a refreshing view of the forest and wildlife. On returning, you can take your breakfast and rest, in the afternoon after lunch, you can go for a sightseeing tour to the watchtower which is located a kilometre from the Dhikala/Gairal resort overlooking the river Ramganga. This place is also ideal for birdwatching, you may see birds like kingfisher, crested serpent eagle and more. Later, you will be taken for a jeep safari along the river Ramganga. You can get to Kanda range via crossing the river through Gathiarao bridge. (It is said that, Kanda range is the place where the famous naturalist and conservationist Jim Corbett shot the Kanda maneater). Later return to the Dhikala/Gairal resort and watch a film on the conservation of Corbett, followed by an overnight stay at the resort.
CORBETT NATIONAL PARK - DELHI
On day 5, you can check out from the resort early and head to the Gairal Range forest. Here, you may encounter some dangerous reptiles like gharial, crocodiles and hungry mugger. As you enter into the dense Sal forests, you can witness massive trees and a number of deers hovering across the forest as well as sloth bears roaming around. Soon after the sightseeing tour in Corbett, you will be taken to the railway station to move for your onward destination.
