In the morning after breakfast, our representative will brief you in detail about the biking excursion before leaving for Martam village through the way leading to Rumtek Monastery and Rani Khola. First visit will be at the very popular Rumtek Monastery; also called the Dharmachakra Center, which served as the main seat of the Karma Kagyu lineage in Sikkim. After breakfast, enjoy the ride to Temi; famous for its aromatic tea gardens. It will be a downward trip till Sirwani Bridge. Established in the year 1969; Temi Tea gardens are spread over 440 acres of land, touching the bottom of the famous Tendong Hill located in the West Sikkim. It produces one of the best variety of tea in India.

In the morning visit the Temi Tea Garden to witness the processing of the aromatic tea that’s globally popular. Thereafter, start with the biking tour to Ravangla, enjoying the pleasant scenery all the way through Damthang, and also a detour to the Ravalang Monastery. As per the records, the monastery was built after the 4th Chogyal’s pilgrimage. After the occasion of his comeback, the Karmapa (Rabney) executed the blessing. He tossed some grains from Tsurphu Monastery in Tibet, that fell on the grounds of Ralang, which was witnessed by the revarants. After breakfast leave to visit Tashiding Monastery situated in the west of Sikkim. It is a Buddhist Monastery of the Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism, which means ‘The Devoted Central Glory’. A beautiful monastery sprawled on top of the hill rising between the Rathong chu and Rangeet River, founded in 1641 by Ngadak Sempa Chempo PhunshokRigzing and was extended to renovation in the year 1717 during the reign of the third Chogyal Chakdor Namgyal. ‘Bumchu’ is a popular festival, which is celebrated here with great splendour on the 14th and 15th day of the first month of Tibetan Calendar. In the morning, leave off for a delightful ride heading towards Pemayangtse. It is an uphill ride and that make its way to the Rimbi Valley. On the way, visit the famous Khechiperi Lake. Enjoy the scenic views of the chattering waterfalls, elaborate farmland, thick forest and attractive gorge. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Enjoy your breakfast before getting on with your ride towards the Pemayangtse Monastery and then on the way to Darjeeling ‘Hill Queen of the W. Bengal’. Upon reaching, check-in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Early morning, leave for a full day sightseeing experience, biking towards the Tiger Hill. Witness the very first ray of the sun falling over the magnificent Himalayas. Then visit the Ghoom Monastery, the popular name given to the YigaChoeling which belongs to the Gelukpa or the Yellow Hat sect. It was built in 1875 by Lama SherabGyatso and is famous for its 15 feet high special statue of the Maitreya Buddha. After having your breakfast, resume your ride towards the Darjeeling Railway Station, which is not to far from the monastery. Enjoy the joyride on the famous toy train up to Ghoom. Upon reaching the Ghoom station, hop on your bikes and visit the Himalayan zoo to check-out the numerous species of Himalayan fauna like black bear, snow leopard, the Red Panda, tigers, yaks, etc nurturing in their natural habitat. Then visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, residing right next to it, and also to the museum detailing the gradient of the Mt. Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary & TenzingSherpa and various other major mountaineering expeditions. Then move on to the Tibetan Self Help Centre; a centre that trains young people in the intricate art of the famous Tibetan handlooms and handicrafts.
