Majestic Himalaya

Early morning, you will drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 feet), from where you can watch the stunning sun rising above the horizon over the Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 feet), world's third largest peak. On your way back from Tiger Hill, you will be visiting other attractions of Darjeeling like Ghum Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden (outer view), Ropeway and Japanese Temple. Don't forget to try some flavoursome Darjeeling tree at the tea garden and see the red panda at the P.N. Zoological Park. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you may go shopping and pick some tea and Tibetan artefacts. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling hotel.

Post breakfast, you will be setting out on a car journey to reach Kalimpong (3,950 feet). When in Kalimpong, you will be transferred to a hotel for some rest and to get acclimatise to the weather. After lunch at the hotel, you will go for the city sightseeing tour. Today, you will be visiting Mangal Dham, Deolo Hill, Dr Graham's Home, Golf Garden, Durpin Dara Hills and Pine View Nursery. After a hectic day, you will head back to the hotel for dinner, followed by a comfortable stay.

From Kalimpong, follow the hilly nerve wrenching trail through the picturesque mountains to reach Gangtok, Sikkim's modern capital and a prominent cultural hub. Upon arrival at Sikkim, you will check in the hotel and after lunch, you will head for the city sightseeing tour. In Gangtok, you will be visiting Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery & Banjakhri Falls. After finishing the hectic schedule, head back to the hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

After breakfast, you will visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist used to monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Thereupon, you visit the Baba Mandir, which is approximately 55 km from Gangtok. Later continue to drive to Gangtok hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

P.S.: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to the alternate place will be provided.

Early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and start your ride towards Lachung (8,700 feet), a hidden hamlet located in the North Sikkim. During your journey, from Gangtok to Lachung, you will come across some scenic places like Naga Waterfall, the confluence of Lachen Chu (River) & Lachung Chu (River) at Chungthang and Bhim Nala Waterfall. For those looking for peace and some soulful time, there is no better place to be than the Naga Waterfall. After the sightseeing tour, you will continue your journey to Lachung for overnight stay and dinner.

Get your cameras ready, enjoy hearty breakfast and head towards Yumthang Valley, which locals also call it as Valley of Flowers. Spend some time in the serenity of the Yumthang Valley and then head back to the hotel by crossing a hot spring. According to locals, taking a bath in this hot spring is considered as good because the water holds medicinal properties. Dinner and overnight stay at Lachung hotel.

Today, you revisit Gangtok via Singhik viewpoint. If you want to see the most mesmerising and promising view of Mt Khangchendzonga, then make sure you don't miss this place. On arrival in Gangtok, you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

After breakfast drive to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for reaching your onward destination.
