This cultural touring to the Eastern Himalayan jewels will commence from Darjeeling, a hill station of West Bengal, which, with its background of the mountain Kanchenjunga, has been the favourite attraction of the curious travelers since ages. A visit to the prime attractions of Darjeeling like Tiger Hill, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden, Ropeway, and Japanese Temple, will also be included in this tour package. Further, you will visit Gangtok, Sikkim's modern capital. The town is blessed with plentiful of sites and is an excellent base to for incursion to places such as Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir, Enchey Monastery, Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok. From Gangtok, you will be transferred to the airport or railway station, from where you will board train or flight for your journey onwards.

Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri Junction Railway Station (Siliguri)/ Bagdogra Airport (Siliguri), you will meet our representatives, who further transfer you to a hotel in Darjeeling (6,950 feet). The journey from Siliguri to Darjeeling is going to be a memorable experience as you will pass through lush mountains and might have an encounter with a toy train. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling.

Day 2

Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning, you will drive to Tiger Hill (8,400 feet), from where you can watch the stunning sun rising above the horizon over the Mt. Khangchendzongha (28,208 feet), world's third largest peak. On your way back from Tiger Hill, you will be visiting other attractions of Darjeeling like Ghum Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast, visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Zoological Park, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self-help Centre, Tea Garden, Ropeway, and Japanese Temple. The evening will be free for leisure. Also, you may go shopping and pick some tea and Tibetan artefacts. Dinner and overnight stay at Darjeeling hotel.

Day 3

Darjeeling – Pelling (80 kilometres / 4 hours)

Post breakfast, set forth on a drive to Pelling, a stunning hill station located at a distance of 80 kilometres. During your journey, from Darjeeling to Pelling, you will pass through Singla check post, which is famed for offering the beautiful view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and even organizes adventure activities like trekking, skiing, etc. On arrival at Pelling, you will be transferred to hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 4

Pelling Sightseeing

The fourth day is going to be particularly scenic as you will be going for city sightseeing tour. Today, in the first half, you will be visiting Darap village, Rimbi water Falls, Khecheopalri Lake and Khangchendzongha waterfalls. For lunch, you will enjoy a stop at some good restaurant. In the second half of the day, you will be visiting Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdantse Ruins, New Helipad Ground. Stay and dinner at the Pelling hotel.

Day 5

Pelling – Gangtok (150 kilometres / 5 hours) via Chardham

Post breakfast, you will hop in the four-wheeler, which will take you to Gangtok (5,500 ft.), the capital of Sikkim. On your way to Gangtok, you will pass through some attractions of Namchi i.e. Temi Tea Garden, Samdruptse & Siddheshwar Dham (Chardham). On arrival at Gangtok, you will check in a hotel, for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 6

Gangtok Local Sightseeing

Today, you will be going for a sightseeing tour to Gangtok covering Tashi view point (famous for offering stunning view of sweeping view of Kanchenjunga snow peaks), popular Hindu temples like Ganesh Tok, and Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Enchey Monastery (a rare monastery founded by Lama Druptab Karpo in 1840) and Banjakhri Falls. Dinner and overnight stay at Gangtok hotel.

Day 7

Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir

After breakfast, you will visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 feet), a high-altitude lake that is sacred to both Hindus and Buddhist. According to the legends, Buddhist used to monks study the colour of lake's water to predict the future. Thereupon, you visit the Baba Mandir, which is approximately 55 kilometre from Gangtok. Later continue to drive to Gangtok hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

P.S.: In the case of a landslide, Tsomgo Lake will remain closed, but a visit to the alternate place will be provided.

Day 8

Gangtok – NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport (120 Kilometre / 5 hours)

After breakfast Check-out from the hotel and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport for your onward journey.
