As the name shall suggest Achal Nath Shivalaya is a famous temple in Jodhpur that has been dedicated to Lord Shiva. The template is a place of religious eminence. History of the Attraction

This template was constructed in the year 1531 by Nanak Devi. She was the queen and wife of Rao Ganga. The temple was devoted to Lord Shiva and was built to practise the worship of the popular Hindu deity. There are eminent water reservoirs inside the temple that are meant for storing drinking water. The construction of the temple was completed in the year 1531 on 21st May. It is a very famous place of religious sanctity for the people of Jodhpur. Even in the current times it holds a very important position in terms of the culture of the city of Jodhpur and its people.

The temple of Achal Nath Shivalaya can be reached by road, rail and also air. This temple is located in the region of Sodagaran Mohalla that is based in the city of Jodhpur. One can conveniently hire a taxi or avail a bus to reach the place. It is also very easy to reach the place through railway as the city of Jodhpur is conveniently linked with other cities such Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Agra, Jodhpur, Jaipur etc through a network of railways. The nearest airport to this temple is the Jodhpur airport that is about 6 km away.
