Best of Kashmir Tour from Mumbai

Morning after breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Srinagar. The world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), & The Chasme Shahi Garden, & Shankaracharya Temple. Later in the evening proceed for shikara ride in Dal lake. Overnight Srinagar Houseboat.

After breakfast at houseboat/hotel leave for day excursion to Sonmarg, which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way you stop at many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonamarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier (on Pony) where snow remains round the year.

In the evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at hotel.

After breakfast in the morning, we will begin our country tour towards Gulmarg. The drive past colorful villages and rice fields, gives you an insight of the rich cultural past of Kashmir. You can enjoy Gondola ride (Cable car, own cost) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg.

The 08 minutes of ropeway will take you past colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. From here you can click lots of photos of the nearby mountain ranges that stand tall like sentinels guarding the rich natural beauty of Kashmir valley.

We descend back to Gulmarg base after an hour. overnight at hotel.

After Breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, Pahalgam (2133 mts) also known as ‘The valley of Shepherds or Trekker's Paradise. Enroute visiting Saffron fields, Awantipur ruins (1100 yrs old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiverma), on see the beautiful countryside the way and lot of rice fields. Arrive Pahalgam and transfer to hotel. After lunch have bridle walks and feed your cameras with the picture of magnificent view of mountains.

Dinner and Overnight stay in Pahalgam Hotel.

After Breakfast, depart for excursion trip to Chandanwadi (on your own), Starting point of Amarnath Yatra & Betab Valley (on your own), Located on the way to Chandanwari, the valley was named Betaab after the bollywood movie by the same name! Earlier known as Hajan Valley, after the release of the movie, it was renamed as major part of the movie was shot here.

Post lunch (on your own) or as time permits, proceed for trip to Aru Valley (on your own) – Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahalgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolahoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. The village lies of the left bank of the Aru river, which is a tributary of the Lidder river. Dinner & Overnight at the hotel in Pahalgam.

Note: In Pahalgam outside vehicle are not allowed for sightseeing. Only local taxi can roam around within Pahalgam city. All outside vehicle will pick up & drop from Hotel
