Day 01: Delhi - Agra, (203 Kms/ 4 ½ Hrs Drive)
Upon arrival at Delhi International airport meet with our representative & drive straight to Agra. En-route visit Sikandra, Akbar's tomb. Further drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Agra
Morning at dawn visit Taj Mahal, symbol of eternal love, which stands on the banks of River Yamuna. It was built by the 5th Mughal emperor, Shah Jehan in the year 1631 in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It was completed in 22 years.
Further we visit Agra Fort, taken over from the Lodhis by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the late 16th century. The Fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. It was built from red sandstone, often inlaid with white marble & intricate decorations.
Itmad-Ud-Daulah's Tomb, built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. It belongs to the father of Nur Jahan, Ghiyas-ud-Din Beg. He was the Wajir (Chief Minister of Emperor Jehangir). This white marble tomb was the first complete marble Mughal structure.
Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Agra – Ranthambhore (260 Kms/ 6 Hrs Drive)
Early morning drive for Rantahmbhore national park. Upon arrival check into the wildlife resort. After lunch jungle safari to the national park for wildlife viewing. Dinner & overnight stay at resort.
Day 04: Full Day In Ranthambhore
Morning and afternoon safari to the national park for wildlife viewing overnight stay at resort.
Day 05: Ranthambhore – Delhi, By Train
Morning with packed breakfast transfer to the railway station to board the train for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi railway stations meet with our representative & transfer to international airport to connect flight for onward destination.
