Day 01: Bangalore – Heritage Winery (Channapatana) – Mysore
Morning meet with our representative and leave for Heritage Winery, located in a very pristine location of Channapatana. Being within the lush greenery and rolling hills the place is away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The winery spread over 25 acres spanning 8 acres of vineyards, 9 acres of winery and rest of the 8 acres is an open landscape.
The fertile soil supports the growth of grapes in this location. Grapes are grown in 800 acres of vineyards around the Heritage winery and Bangalore to make quality wines, grown under the supervision of experts.
Upon reaching at Winery the guest will meet with one of our wine guides. After a brief description or video presentation the guide will take you on a tour of the winery. During our wine tour we will get to know the mysteries of the wine making process from grape to bottle. Further we will have a visit to our sprawling vineyards. Further we will gather in a wine tasting room, here the winemaker (wine expert) will teach us how to see, swirl, sniff, and sip wine. The winery produces 6 varieties of wines as Cabernet red wine, Shiraz red wine, Chenin Blanc white wine, Twist bubbly wine, Heritage 2000 premium wine, Heritage sweet red wine.
After our wine tour we will visit to the Epulo restaurant for lunch. The Epulo is specializing in Grills and BBQ's and serves both European and local dishes.
After lunch we will proceed to Mysore. Upon reaching Mysore transfer to the hotel. Evening spend leisurely. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 02: Mysore
After breakfast, visit this ancient princely city, famous for its silks, sandalwood and various palaces. We will start our tour visiting the residence of Wodeyar king – The Mysore Palace. Wodeyar king ruled the state of Mysore from 1399 to 1950. The Palace is among the largest palace in India and built in Indo-Persian style facing Chamundi hills.
Further we will visit an art gallery and the Chamundeshwari Temple dedicated to the goddess Kali on Chamundi Hill, from which you have a panoramic view of the city. You will also visit Somnathpur, famous for the temple of Keshava.
In the evening we will visit the world famous Brindavan Gardens expanded over 150 acres. Enjoy the eye catching view of the Musical and dancing fountain harmonized with water.
Later return to hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 03: Mysore - Bangalore
After breakfast we will leave for Bangalore. En-route we will visit Srirangapatnam, the capital of warrior King Hyder Ali and his son Tipu Sultan. It has a number of magnificent monuments that are important tourist destinations and are well worth a visit.
Further continue drive to Bangalore.
