With a beautiful presentation of art and culture of India and other countries, Shilpotsava is another significant name in the list of cultural festivals in Uttar Pradesh. Celebrated in the month of October under the administration of UP Tourism and Noida Authority, the festival brings the traditional arts and crafts of the different region of India along with other countries to the forefront. Held for a whole long period of ten days in Noida, the festival that encourages artisans to showcase their artworks also hosts various food stalls selling some authentic delicacies of different regions of the country. Therefore, while being at Shilpotsava, tourists can expect to savour the authentic taste of popular states like Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
From painting to pottery and lampshades to leather, around 400 stalls are put up at Shilpotsava. Being one of the most celebrated festivals in Uttar Pradesh, Shilpotsava also hosts various cultural programmes for a source of entertainment to visitors. Throughout this period of festivity, Bollywood night performances by various celebrities are also organized at Shilpotsava. Since its first edition, which held in the year 2008, Shilpotsava has received a magnificent response and has turned out to be one of the major boosters for the cultural tourism of India.
