Lungchok Valley Aritar

This picturesque valley is located in Sikkim and it offers exquisite view of the neighbouring hills and surroundings. Getting There

Namchi is closer to Lungchok Valley; it takes about an hour to reach via vehicle. However, it takes almost three hours from the capital Gangtok to reach to the valley. You can get taxi options in the town.

Usually travellers visit this place for relishing the breathtaking sight of the surroundings and peaks such as Mt. Kanchenjunga. Lungchok Valley is also a base camp zone for adventure fanatics; it is an ideal place for trekking. From here places like Aritar, Lokdara and Chujachen are also closer.

The best time to visit Lungchok Valley is during the summers when the air is cool and pleasant. The months between March and May are ideal.
