By Rail
The town of Chandel boasts a decent rail connectivity. Those who prefer travelling by train are supposed to board a train to Dimapur which is in Nagaland as there is no railway station in Manipur. The closest one from Chandel is in Dimapur which is located some 263 km away. Taxi services are available from the station that can take you to the destination. However, the interstate buses also ply from Dimapur to Chandel.

The town of Chandel is very well connected with Imphal through roads and National Highway 39.
