How To Reach Ganpatipule

By Air:
The nearest airport is Lohegaon Airport in Pune which is 167 kms away and Dabolim Airport is the second nearest airport to Ganapatipule which is 218 kms away.
By Rail:
The nearest station to Ganapatipule is Ratnagiri station and buses or cars have to be availed to reach Ganapatipule.
By Road:
Ganapatipule is 32 km away from Nivali, a small settlement on Mumbai Goa Road (NH 17). After reaching Nivali, you have to take a right turn for Ganapatipule. Alternatively from Ganapatipule you can approach Ratnagiri directly through Hatkhamba without having to go through Nivali. This is the shortest motorway but is plagued with many more turns and is constricted compared to NH-17, but the journey has splendors of nature and awe-inspiring oceanic sights. That distance is approximately 30 km.
Mumbai is 375 km away by Mahad, and Pune is 331 km away through Satara and you need to break your journey to reach Ganapatipule from Mahad and Satara respectively. For quicker drives, Ganapatipule is also linked with other cities by state buses. Buses are available from major cities like Mumbai, Kolhapur, Pune, Sangli and Solapur to Ratnagiri. From Ratnagiri, reserved cabs also drive to Ganapatipule.
