How To Reach Daulatabad

The tourists can reach the Daulatabad fort by road, by railway or by air as may be convenient for them. One has to reach the city Aurangabad first and then travel to the fort from there.

By Air:

At about a distance of 22kms from the fort is the Aurangabad Airport which is very well connected to many major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Frequent flights are available from various important cities which help people to reach Aurangabad. From the airport transport facilities are available which help people to visit the fort.

By Rail:

Aurangabad Railway Station is located at about a distance of 15km from Daulatabad Fort. The Devagiri express train is also another means of reaching Daulatabad. This train connects Aurangabad to cities like Secunderabad and Mumbai. After reaching the railway station the tourists hire cars or even avail buses to visit to the fort.

By Road:

Aurangabad is very well connected with the National Highway 2003 popularly known as the “Aurangabad-Ellora Road” which is at a distance of 20km from Daulatabad. Tourists can avail various private cars and buses plying on this road to reach the fort.
