How To Reach Akola

Situated in Maharashtra, and being one of the major cities of the state, Akola lies at a distance of 250 kms to west of Nagpur and about 600 kms to the east of Mumbai. It is one of the three largest cities in the Vidarbha region after Nagpur and Amravati.

The city is well linked with all major cities in India by rail and road.

By Air:

Akola has its own domestic airport known as the Akola Airport. The airport is situated at a distance of about 7 Km outside the main city on National Highway No- 6. Nagpur airport and Chikkalthana Airport (IXU), Aurangabad, are other nearest airport which are located at a distance of about 250 km and 207 respectively from Akola.

By Rail:

There are train services available from other major cities of the country. The railway stations in Akola are Akot (AKOT), Akola Junction (AK), Uggwe (UGWE), Shivni Shiwapur (SVW)

By Road:

The city is linked with many major cities and can be reached easily by booking online bus tickets as well. The bus station is at Akot.
