How To Reach Nashik

Nashik is well connected by rail and road with many major cities in the state as well in the country. The nearest airport would be at Mumbai, some 3.5 hours away from the city. People hire cab from Mumbai aiport to reach Nashik. However, the best way to reach this city would be by train as it is connected with innumerable cities in India. Nashik used to have its own airport, called the Gandhinagar Airport. However, it has been taken over by the Indian Army and it now serves as a Military Airbase. The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai is the nearest airport to the city of Nashik, which is approximately three and a half hours away by road. This airport is connected to all the major cities of India like Kolkata, Delhi, Chennai, Kochi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, etc.

The city of Nashik has its own railway station called the Nashik Railway Station. The station is one of the major stations in Central Railway. It is well connected to a lot of cities around Nashik like Mumbai, Allahabad, Pune, Bareilly, Agra, etc.
