How To Reach Malvan

To be found in the coastal districts of the state of Maharashtra, Malvan is approximately 514 kms away from Mumbai, 405 kms away from Pune and 140 kms away from Ratnagiri. It is almost an 8 to 9 hours’ drive from Mumbai and Pune. Malvan is easily reachable by road from major cities of Maharashtra.

By Air

For travellers who are inclined towards flight travel, they will find that they can book flights for either Mumbai or Goa. The nearest airport to Malvan is Goa and the second nearest airport would be in Mumbai.

By Rail:

If you are interested in travelling by railroad, there are two options: Kudal station and Dabolim station. As because of their large availabilityof buses from Kudal, it is more convenient station for going to Malvan.

By Road

The National Highway 17 that stretches from Mumbai to Goa has Kasaal along the road which is 35 kms close to Malvan, after which a state transport has to be boarded to reach Malvan. There are luxury buses available plying from Mumbai to Malvan. There are luxury buses which ply from Pune to Goa on daily basis and you would have to break your journey at Kasaal and board a state transport bus or auto rickshaw to reach Malvan.
