History of the Temple
This must visit place was inaugurated in 1999, by Reverend Nichiki Kato of Japan. The temple was founded by Mother Noriko Ogawa Society and houses one single idol of Lord Buddha which is believed to have been carved out of a single piece of sandalwood.

Being one of the most popular tourist attractions, you would get all kinds of transport to reach his place. Kamptee is well connected to Nagpur city and Mumbai. You would get taxis and buses as well.
Things to do and see in and around
The Fort of Hooded Cobra is a famous tourist destination here. There are a couple of other temples near the Kamptee railway station as well that you can visit. The Raman Science Centre is 12.4 km from the station.
Opening & Closing Time
Being a Buddhist pilgrimage location, it is open throughout the year. The temple opens in the morning and closes at 7 PM in the evening.
