Kolhapur experiences real hot and humid summer months. The maximum temperature in the region goes upto almost 35 degrees Celsius whereas the minimum temperature is around 26 Celsius. The month of May is the hottest in the year and it is preferred not to visit Kohlapur at this time.

Monsoon:

Rainfall in Kolhapur is not much. The city receives its maximum rain from June to September. During this rainy season, the temperature remains between 23 and 30 degrees Celsius. The monsoon time also sees a lot of tourists visiting Kohlapur.

Winter:

Winter season starts from October and lasts till February in Kolhapur. The climate around the city is at its best during the winter months. The temperature remains between 14 and 30 degrees Celsius.
