Winter:

The best time to visit Amboli is between the months of October and February, i.e the winter time. It is during this time of the year that Amboli is at its best. This hill stations experiences best weather condition during these months. The weather remains pleasant and makes its ideal for tourists to savor the maximum of its beauty. The temperature remains between 10°C and 30°C – thereby promising an ideal holiday.

Summer:

Summer in Amboli is from March to May and the temperature might vary between 22°C and 40 °C. The weather remains hot and dry and this could not be considered as the ideal time to enjoy sightseeing activities.

Monsoon:

However, Amboli is a place for monsoon lovers. Its waterfalls and green thick forests get their best shape in this monsoon. Monsoon begins from June and continues till September. Amboli is situated at an altitude of 690 m at the Konkan range and is known to receive the second highest rainfall in entire Maharashtra. The humidity might be a bit high due to such water borne air, thus making it a bit difficult to enjoy sightseeing.
