Thumboormuzhi Dam and Butterfly Park Kerala

Thumboormuzhi Dam and Butterfly Park are one among the most famous tourist spot to visit in Thrissur. They are located near to each other and it is frequently visited by nature lovers. The butterfly garden is a natural habitat of butterflies and it has about 148 spices. One can witness unique and small butterflies as well as some large ones. From here the river splits into two canals - Edathukara canal and Valathukara canal. These canals provide a resourceful aid to the nearby villages.

Thumboormuzhi Dam and Garden are located near Chalakudy district of Thrissur, Kerala. These attractions are at a distance of about 17 kilometres from Chalakudy and 55 kilometres from Thrissur. You can get taxis to run to and from these two stops.
