Shooting Locations in Kerala
The picturesque landscape of Kerala has always been preferred by movie makers as the shooting location. The flawless landscape, whether they are hill, beaches, backwaters, rivers, lake or even the scenic resorts; the perfect colours and the diversity indeed make the state an ideal place to shoot a film. Some of the eminent Indian film directors chose Kerala and made the place even more popular. Ram Gopal Varma's Nishabdh was shot in Munnar. In fact veteran director, Mani Ratnam chose Thekkady and Munnar for his movie Dil Se and Athirapally waterfalls for his another Bollywood hit, Guru and Bekal for his another successful film, Bombay. Gurinder Chadha’s Mistress of Spices was also partly shot in Munnar and Fort Kochi was selected by Ismail Merchant for his movie, Cotton Mary.
