How To Reach Kumarakom

The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport which is 80 km away from the main town. From the airport, you can hire a cab to Kumarakom which is about 80 km.

Nearest railway station is the Kottayam railway station which is 16 km away from Kumarakom. Similarly, you can hire a cab from Kottayam to Kumarakom which is around 17 km.

By Water:

Kumarakom is easily accessible by boat from Muhamma (a town nearby Alleppey). The boat ride to Kumarakom is scenic and beautiful.

By Road:

Roadways are probably the best and least expensive mode of transport to explore Kumarakom. Buses run by Kerala tourism are well-connected with all the major cities around.
