Jammu & Kashmir has two main airports, one in Jammu Region and another in Srinagar. Jammu Airport, located about 8 km southwest to the city of Jammu, is the major airport in Jammu. Some of the airlines operated by this airport are Alliance Air, Air India, SpiceJet, IndiGo, Vistara & Go Air.

The only airport in Kashmir Valley is Srinagar Airport, now known as Sheikh-Ul-Alam International Airport, which operates flights to the major cities of India like Goa, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore & Jammu. Some of the flights operated by this airport are IndiGo, Air India and Jet Airways.
