Best Time to Visit Kufri

With its spectacular vistas and exhilarating locale, Kufri is a popular tourist destination during the summers from April to June. This is the best time to enjoy the charm and serenity of this place. However, for adventure buffs who want to experience the thrill of its skiing slopes, the winter months from October to March are the ideal time to visit Kufri.

Summer Season (April-June):

With the temperature varying from 12°C to 19°C, the summers in Kufri are pleasant and offer tourists a respite from the scorching heat of northern India. This is the ideal time to visit this place.

Monsoon Season (July-September):

Kufri experiences low to moderate rainfall. The monsoon rains transform this place and turn it into a dreamlike destination. However, the roads leading to Kufri become very prone to landslides during this season. Therefore, it is adviced to check the weather forecast before planning a trip to Kufri in the monsoon season. 

Winter Season (October-March):

Owing to its snow-covered slopes and numerous adventure activities like skiing and tobogganing, Kufri is the perfect getaway during winters for thrill seekers and snow lovers. Travellers can also enjoy its Winter Sports Festival which is organized in February every year. It is recommended to carry heavy woollens if you are visiting Kufri during the winters, as the mercury falls down to as low as -2°C.
