The 26 nights and 27 days tour package is a great way to explore the forests, mountains, wildlife and tribal villages where the tribes live a very simple life. Upon arrival at Guwahati airport / railway station meet with our representative. After meet and greet we will leave for Nameri National Park. Nameri is situated within the foothills of Eastern Himalayas. Upon reaching transfer to the Nature camp. Evening free at leisure or make a visit to the nearby Pygmy Hog Foundation and learn about the species. The Pygmy Hogs are one of the world's most endangered mammals. These Pygmy Hogs are kept in captive breeding in Guwahati and now they are kept in semi-natural conditions of Nameri before being set free into the park. Evening enjoy bonfire arrange by the camp / resort. Overnight stay in camp / resort.

Day 2

Nameri

This morning we will go on a fascinating river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. For the same we will drive 25 kms from the resort towards the river upstream, from where we will enjoy the downstream rafting on the inflatable raft. Here we will have a chance to see a lot of migratory waterfowl and if you are so lucky then one can even spot the Royal Bengal Tiger and the Elephant on the banks of the river from the boat. The 13 km stretch of rafting will takes around three hours.

After the river rafting return to the camp site for Lunch. After lunch we will go on a nature trail along the reserve. Here we will be accompanied with a knowledgeable forest guides and armed forest guards. The forest treks are the best way to explore the Nameri National Park as it allows you to get very close to the wildlife life. Here once can spot the rare species of white-winged wood ducks and the great hornbills.

Day 3

Nameri - Dirang

Morning after breakfast drive to Dirang, the picturesque Monpa Valley (8600ft). En-route we will visit Bomdila Monastery, which was constructed by Tsona Gontse Rinpoche, the 12th reincarnate. The monastery is one of the most famous attractions of Bomdila and was inaugurated in 1965. Bomdila monastery is abode to Buddhist Monks and Lamas. It is believed to be the monastery here in Bomdila is exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery.

Further we will continue drive to Dirang. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the evening once can visit the hot water spring, Regional sheep farm, Sangti and Yak Research Center if time permits. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Day 4

Dirang - Tawang

After an early breakfast we will leave for our highest tourist destination Tawang.

Here will be driving through the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colourful tribals, we will continue drive towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft). Here we will spend some lovely times by the paradise lake which is the land of the Monpa tribes and a major center of the Mahayana Buddhism.

Further we will continue drive to Tawang. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the evening once can visit the Craft Center and traditional Monpa Village. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 5

Tawang

Today we will have a full day excursion around Tawang visiting first the famous Tawang Monastery, which was founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyasto. He was a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama and founded the Monastery during 17th century A.D. At present it accommodates over 500 monks and houses priceless Buddhist texts and scriptures.

Further we will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gompa, which are the abode of nuns and the oldest Ani Gompa in the Tawang. The Gompa is situated in the lap of a far off mountain laced with natural scenery and comes under the administration of Tawang Monastery.

In the evening we will visit Urgelling Monastery, situated 5 km to the south of Town. It was here in 1683 Tsangyang Gyatso, the sixth Dalai Lama was born. We will also to Monpa village. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 6

Tawang - Bomdila

Today after breakfast we will drive back to Bomdila. On the way we will stop to visit 1962 Indo-China War memorial dedicated to Baba Jaswant Singh Rawat. It is located 25 km before Tawang and situated within a scenic terrain just below the Sela pass. The War Memorial is commemorates the bravery of the martyred Indian soldiers of the 1962 Indo-China war.

This war memorial stands here in the remembrance of rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, of the 4th Battalion of Garhwal Rifles Infantry Regiment. He showed his heroism by fighting and holding the attacking Chinese back for 72 hours all alone and remained at his post at an altitude of about 10,000 feet before succumbing to an enemy bullet during that bloody winter war.

After pay our homage at war memorial we will continue drive to Bomdila on the way enjoying the beauty of snow-clad peaks namely Kangto (7090 mt), Nyegi Kangsang (7050 Mt), Gorichen (6488 Mt).

Upon arrival at Bomdila check into the hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 7

Bomdila - Tezpur

Today after breakfast we will drive to Tezpur, en-route visiting the Orchid Centre at Tipi. Tipi houses over 7500 orchids. On display are some of the finest species with names like the Dainty Lady's Slipper or the more formal sounding Dendrobium.

Further continue drive to Tezpur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After fresh-n-up city sightseeing tour of Tezpur. It is also known, as 'The City of Blood'. Tezpur is a city steeped in mythology, legend and folklore. Situated on the north bank of Brahmaputra, this town of magnificent scenic beauty and exquisite archaeological ruins is the headquarter of Sonitpur District. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 8

Tezpur - Itanagar

Today after breakfast we check out form the hotel and then drive to Itanagar. On arrival check into hotel. Evening time permitting visit local market. Return back to hotel. Overnight in Itanagar.

Itanagar has been the capital of Arunachal Pradesh since 20th April 1974. Itanagar is situated at the foothills. The township is situated at 350 meters above mean sea level. It comes administratively under Papum Pare district. The Nishis or Nishings is the major tribe in Itanagar area. However, Itanagar can be called as mini India, as people from all over the country, live here in harmony.

Day 9

Itanagar - Ziro

After breakfast we will leave for Ziro, En-route we will visit Nyishi villages. Further continue drive to Ziro. Upon arrival check into the hotel. In the evening explore the local market for Ziro. Overnight at the hotel.

Ziro : The 5754 ft. (1,780m) high town is almost a level valley enclosed on all sides by pine-clad low stooping hills. This area, also called Apatani Plateau, is famous for Paddy-cum-Fish culture. It is the part of the beautiful whole of nature. Ziro place also comprise of the quietly flowing rivers of Subansiri, Nishi, Apatani, Dafla, and Miri. It is home to the Apatani tribes. Ziro is located in an extremely picturesque valley of Apatani Plateau bounded by pine-covered mountains. The main attraction of the Ziro will be the Apatani tribes and known for their tattoo on the body.

Day 10

Ziro

Today we will visit the tribal villages of Apatani, here we will interact with tribal and will get in touch of their rich culture and leaving. We will be doing a full day tour of this traditional town. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11

Ziro - Daporijo

Today we will leave for our next tribal destination of Daporijo. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After fresh-n-up we will visit the tribal villages of Hillmiri and Tagin the main tribes of Daporijo. Here will have a chance to spend the night in a typical Hillmiri tribal village. Overnight at Daporijo.

The picturesque city of Arunachal Pradesh - Daporijo is dotted with beautifully collection of flora and fauna. It is also an ideal nesting place for many rare species of faunas. The sunrise and sunset in Daporijo are worth viewing as it illuminates the lush green hills.

Day 12

Daporijo - Along

Today we will leave for headquarter of west Siang district of Arunachal. En-route we will have a short halt in Gallong village. Further continue drive to Along situated at an altitude of 300 mt and the place is inhabitants by Adi Tribes. Upon arrival check into the guest house. In the evening have a stroll through its local market. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13

Along

After breakfast, take your whole day will be in Along, visiting villages of the Adi Gallo. Take a walk from Kabu village to Paya village – a very scenic walk along the River Siang. Picnic lunch on the river bank. Overnight at the hotel.

Along in Arunachal Pradesh is a small town with beautiful villages. Along is a most ideal place to spend the hot summer seasons. The picturesque surroundings laced with brilliant plantations makes Along in Arunachal one of the most perfect health resorts of India. The places one can visit at Along are the Mithun and Jersey Cross Breeding Farm at Kamaki 25 kms away from Along.

Day 14

Along - Dibrugarh

After Morning breakfast, depart for Dibrugarh in Assam. Visit more beautiful villages along the way. Today we will take a ferry across the mighty Brahmaputra River to reach Dibrugarh. Dibrugarh is known as the tea capital of Assam because of the numerous tea estates that surrounds this town. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. Later if time permits, visit the local market. Overnight in Dibrugarh.

Situated on the banks of the River Brahmaputra, Dibrugarh is surrounded by tea gardens with the misty outlines of the Himalayas in the background - Dibrugarh is the largest tea exporting town in India. One can go around the tea gardens which are located in and around the town. A large number of tea estates are located along NH-37 covering large area of Dibrugarh district. Sometimes it is referred as the gateway to some districts of Arunachal Pradesh.

Day 15

Dibrugarh - Mon

Morning transfer from Dibrugarh to Mon. The drive to Mon in Nagaland will be through lush green valley of the tea estates of Assam. Enroute visit the ancient monuments of the Ahom kingdom. This district is inhabited by the Konyak tribe with a sizable number of AO Nagas. 'Konyak' are seen by everyone as the most backward of the sixteen Naga tribes. This on the other hand can also be perceived as the most traditional of the tribes. They have given up their head-hunting ways, but still lives in a very traditional lifestyle. Konyak are adept artisan and skilled craftsman; here you can find excellent woodcarving, doas (machete) guns, gunpowder, head brushes necklace etc. On arrival, check into hotel on arrival. Overnight in Mon.

Mon has a unique culture and tradition. The town is inhabited by several tribes. The main tribe in the region is the Konyak Nagas. The Konyaks can be seen in traditional clothing that consist of a heat gear, necklaces and head brushes. The people have tattooed faces and they are different. The Konyaks are famous for their wood carving and one can exquisite carvings and artifacts in the place.

Day 16

Mon - Longwa - Mon

After a leisure breakfast, commence an excursion to Longwa village perched dominantly on a ridge between India and Myanmar. Later visit the Mon villages. Return to Mon by late afternoon. Overnight in Mon.

Day 17

Mon - Tuensang

Today morning check out from the hotel and drive to Tuensang which is the homeland of Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungans, Sangtam and Phoms Nagas. Enroute visit more villages of the upper Konyak tribes. On arrival, check into Govt. Guest House. Overnight in Tuensang.

Tuensang : Situated between Tuensang and Hakchung village, Tuensang is the homeland of the Changs, Yimchungers, Khiamungans, Sangtams, Semas and Phoms. These tribes have a rich cultural heritage and their dresses are very colorful. Their dances and songs are heart-warming. This area is known for its handicrafts and handloom products. According to the Chang legend, it is said that their ancestors lived in this place " Changsang" during the creation of the universe. It says that human existence on earth started when man emerged from a big hole in the earth.

Day 18

Tuensang - Noklak

Morning after breakfast, drive on to Noklak - the administrative capital of the Khiamungans Nagas. On arrival, check into the circuit house. Later if time permits, we will visit Noklak old village. Overnight in Noklak.

Day 19

Noklak - Pangsha - Noklak

After breakfast we will go on a full day excursion around Noklak driving to Pangsha, one of the oldest villages of the Khiamungan tribe. Located on the slope of the hills, it has a commanding view of the neighboring areas. Walk through the village and see the way of life, interact with the people. Pangsha is the last village on the Indian side of the border. From here we will drive up to a place called Dan, this is a small place which has been set up to promote the trading between the people from across the border. Meet and interact with the people settled in this place. After visit drive back to Noklak. Overnight in Noklak.

Day 20

Noklak - Tuensang

Today we will leave for Tuensang to visit the Chang Tribes. Upon arrival at Tuensang transfer to the circuit house. After fresh-n-up we will visit the old Tuensang village of the Chang Tribes. Overnight in Tuensang.

Day 21

Tuensang - Mokokchung

After breakfast drive to Mokokchung. On arrival, transfer to the hotel. The location of this village, high on a hill, is its best feature. Each house in the village looks out on to an unending lush chain of hills, which change color with the rising sun. The tourist lodge, while situated away from the village, is perfectly positioned to receive the evening sunlight. Time permitting we will visit the AO village of Ungma or Mopungchuket. Overnight in Mokokchung.

Home to Naga tribe, the district has its headquarters located in the town of Mokokchung. On the north, the destination is surrounded by the state of Assam, while on the south lies Zunheboto. On the other hand, on the east, the place is bounded by Tuensang, while on the west lies Wokha.

Day 22

Mokokchung - Touphema Bawe - Kohima

After breakfast, check out and drive to Kohima. Enroute visit the old village of Touphema Bawe villages of the Angami Naga. The small and pleasant town of Kohima is surrounded by hills dotted with villages and is situated at an altitude of 5,000 feet. Upon arrival check-into the hotel. Overnight in Kohima.

Kohima, the capital town of Nagaland in the north eastern part of India is a picturesque town, situated amidst lush green wealth of the nature. Kohima in Nagaland, a typical Naga town is a pretty hill station, with panoramic views of the rugged Naga Hills, displaying the exotic tribal culture of the northeast. The home of the brave and daring, yet simple and innocent, Naga tribes, Kohima Nagaland is unspoilt and replete with some attractive sites to see and do. Sheltered in the eastern frontiers of the Himalayan mountain range, Kohima in Nagaland is noted for its unhurried pace of life, calm and serene environs and fresh, unpolluted air, which make a welcome change for an exhausted city sniffers.

Day 23

Kohima - Khonoma - Kohima

After breakfast visits the local market and then drive to Khonoma village (20 kms/1 hr) a place which is renowned for its valour and courage. The Khonoma gate tells the story of British infiltration into Naga Hills. Explore and interact with the villagers. Drive back to Kohima for lunch and visit the state museum (closed on Mondays and govt. holidays) and the famous war cemetery, a symbolic memorial raised as citation for the supreme sacrifice made by the officers and men of the Allied forces during World War II. Return back to Kohima after visit. Overnight at in Kohima.

Day 24

Kohima - Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to the Kaziranga National Park. Check into jungle lodge/resort on arrival. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight at the jungle lodge/resort.

Kaziranga National Park, a World Heritage Site and Tiger reserve - is home to more than 80% of the world's population of the Great One Horned Rhinoceros. It has a significant population of Asian Elephant and Water Buffalos living here. It has a wide variety of flora and avifauna in a unique habitat of mainly grasslands, close tangled and thorny rattan cane, Elephant grass and tall trees of evergreen forest and numerous water bodies. More than 400 species of birds both resident and migratory are found here. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants and if you are lucky, the tiger. It is virtually a paradise for bird watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds darting from tree to tree. It is also home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park.

Day 25

Kaziranga National Park

Today we will explore the Eastern Range of the National Park for Jeep safari. The eastern range of Kaziranga known as Agoratoli consists mostly of woodland and is famous for its wide variety of Birds. It is home to a variety of migratory birds and is also known to have large population of Wild Elephants. During our exploration in Agoratoli we will visit the Shola water body and here once can stop for sometimes at Shohola Tower to view the birdlife and other animals. This will be the last stoppage of our Jeep safari in Eastern range. Later we will return to the resort for lunch.

After lunch we will again explore the central range of the national with visiting few of its watch tower namely Kathpora Tower, Daflang Tower and Kerasing Tower. Later return to the resort. In the evening time once can also visit the nearby local village to see their way of life & livelihood. Overnight stay at wildlife resort.

Day 26

Kaziranga National Park - Guwahati

Today onwards we will start our wildlife exploration in Kaziranga National Park, as we will awake a little early and get ready to enjoy our very first Elephant safari to the national park. Here we will enjoy the Elephant safari in central zone called Kohora, as this is the smallest zone of the national park having a maximum density of one horned Rhino. The Elephant safari will take us to the very narrow path of the national park within the elephant grass and will enhance the chances to get closer to the wildlife. The central range of the national park is mix of Grassland and Woodland.

A number of water bodies are also there which is perfect for the birdlife and home to pelicans, storks and darters as there are a number of water bodies inside the Park. Later we will return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast leave for Guwahati. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure or explore the paltan bazar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Departure

Transfer to the Guwahati airport to connect for onward travels.
