Dr. Subhash Gupta is an eminent surgeon with more than 37 years of experience in the field of Liver Transplantation, Biliary tree and Pancreas. He is working as a General, Gastrointestinal and liver transplant surgeon at Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, Delhi. He has done his MBBS, MS - General Surgery and FRCS-General Surgery (Upper GI). He had also undergone training for FRCSEd in Liver Transplantation. Dr. Subhash gained unmatched skill by working as a consultant surgeon at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, impanelled Consultant at St. James’s University Hospital and observer at Queen’s Elizabeth Medical Centre, and All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Dr. Subhash and his team has successfully performed 300 living Donor Liver Transplants in 2013, each of which lasted for 10 to 16 hours. He is one among the first who has developed Living Donor Liver Transplant (LDLT) in India.

He has published many papers on various aspects of Living Donor Liver Transplant in indexed journals. He was also honored with the position of Professorship in Surgery from Apollo Health Education and Research Foundation and for his excellence in clinical medicine (2012) from Rotary Association of India.
