Overview
Acibadem Healthcare Group, founded in 1992, is a Turkish healthcare initiative that has grown to employ over 17,000 healthcare professionals. With 21 hospitals and 16 medical centers all over the country, Acibadem is currently the world’s second largest Healthcare Chain. They comprise of a network of six general hospitals, outpatient clinics, medical centres, one ophthalmology centre and laboratories. It is currently working in tandem with Istanbul International Hospital and Etiler Outpatient Clinic, and is even affiliated with Amesterdam, Eskisehir, Bodrum, Besiktas and Maslak.
Because of its international affiliation, it brings in a lot of international patients. For this reason, Acibadem have staff that are multilingual and can speak languages like English, German, Dutch, Russian, Craotian, Armenian and so on. One of the worst paitent experience we had with my family. My 8 years old daughter got a major fraction in her hand.. the physician was very good. But the staff and the service we got during our in paitent stay was really bad.. no administrative servise or support by any mean.. no paitent experience team or any one to support you or your needs. Even no one is ready to say SORRY. Overall I dont recommed this hospital at all.

Very good hospital... also very professional from the staff and the doctors also they have an arabic translator.. the con is the price of examination is way WAY HIGH ...

It is not 24/7 hospital. They will refuse to do medical procedures during holidays even if patient is suffering from the great pain. I have been to hospitals in other countries and frankly this is the first time I see medical professionals deferring procedures by a week just because there is a holiday. Perhaps it is more of Turkey as a country issue, where holidays take precedence over life saving procedures or perhaps this is the Acibadem policy. I am unlikely if ever to make the same mistake again. Do not under any circumstances arrange time sensitive medical treatment in Turkey/Acibadem international.
