Haridwar Kumbh Mela 2021 Registration
The Uttarakhand government has issued guidelines related to Kumbh Mela Registration, passes and COVID-19 safety measures for visitors to the Kumbh Mela, which is being held from 14th January, 2021 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. These guidelines have to be followed by everybody visiting the Kumbh Mela in Haridwar. This year, Kumbh Mela Registration will be compulsory for everybody attending the Kumbh Mela. Guidelines for the Kumbh Mela 2021 Online Registration
- Kumbh Mela Passes, which will be available online, will be issued to pilgrims & visitors attending the Kumbh Mela.
- Nobody will be allowed to attend the Kumbh Mela without a Kumbh Mela Pass.
- Kumbh Mela Registration is compulsory for both pilgrims and visitors to the Kumbh Mela.
- Kumbh Mela registration 2021 can be done at the Kumbh Mela Registration official portal https://www.haridwarkumbhmela2021.com/.
- To complete the Kumbh Mela registration online, visitors will have to upload their RT-PCR report, medical certificate and identity card to the authorised portal.
- Only after the visitors have uploaded the necessary documents, will they be issued a Kumbh Mela Pass.
COVID-19 Guidelines Related to the Kumbh Mela
The Uttarakhand government has also laid down a set of COVID-19 guidelines which will have to be followed by devotees and tourists visiting the Kumbh Mela. These guidelines are mentioned below:
- Devotees and tourists visiting the Kumbh Mela will have to carry a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report. The report should have a test date 72 hours before the date of the visit.
- Use of face covers or masks will be compulsory.
- All devotees will have to register with the government of Uttarakhand.
- Devotees & tourists will also have to obtain a compulsory medical certificate in their state from the nearest Community Health Center/District Hospital/Medical College.
- Those who are above 65 years of age, or senior citizens, pregnant women, children below 10 years of age and those with comorbid conditions like diabetes, hypertension, chronic lung disease and cancer should avoid visiting the Kumbh Mela.
- Individuals should always maintain a distance of 6 feet from each other at all times.
- Wash your hands frequently with soap, even when they do not look dirty. Alcohol based sanitisers will be made available.
- Spitting is strictly prohibited.
- Aarogya Setu app should be installed by everybody.
