Upon arrival at Montreux, you’ll be greeted by our representative who will help you transfer to the hotel. After freshening up, the rest of the day will be for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
The real tour begins today as, after a scrumptious breakfast, you will leave to explore Montreux. A visit to Lake Promenade which is a popular tourist in Montreux will let you spend some quality time and relax at Chillon Castle which is a medieval fortress on the shores of Lake Geneva near Montreux. Also, if time permits you will even get a chance to witness a lovely hilltop and cheese factory at Gruyeres which is yet another popular tourist spot. Once done with exploring, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, after having a nutritious breakfast, you will leave Geneva region and head to car free resort of Zermatt on the foothills of the majestic Matterhorn by train. Taking the exciting journey of approx 40 mins from Zermatt to Matterhorn, you will reach the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise which is the highest sightseeing point in Europe. One can find snow all throughout the year along with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Swiss, Italian and French Alps. Once done with exploring Matterhorn, you will head back to Zermatt for an overnight stay.
As always, after having breakfast, head to Interlaken where tourists never get enough of its spectacular scenery. Reaching Interlaken you will check-in into the hotel. After getting freshen-up, rest of the time will be for leisure. Meanwhile head to explore Interlaken’s Hoheweg Promenade which is a social meeting place with hotels, cosy cafes, fashion boutiques, jewellery stores and more. As the dusk draws near and you are through with exploring Hoheweg, you will get a chance to admire the mountains by taking the dinner cruise on Lake Brienz when visiting the place in the months between May and August. Once done with exploring Interlaken and dinner, head back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Rise and shine as this day you will leave for an excursion from Interlaken to Jungfraujoch which is the top of Europe. You will indulge in a memorable train trip from Interlaken Ost Railway Station that will take you via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen to the Kleine Scheidegg, at the foot of the famous Eiger North Wall. Ascending by the Jungfraujoch Railway Station which is the highest railway station in Europe you will get to explore the Ice Palace and Sphinx Terraces which offers the breathtaking views of the Aletsch Glacier. Once done with exploring the Jungfraujoch, you will head back to Interlaken for an overnight stay at the hotel.
In the morning after having breakfast, you will head to Lucerne which is yet another popular tourist destination in Switzerland. For this, you will get to experience a rail trip by the Golden Pass line from Interlaken to Lucerne which is also known as City of Lights. Once you reach Lucerne, you will check-in into the hotel. After getting freshen-up you will head to explore the lovely city and visit the Swiss Transport Museum, the IMAX Theatre or the Lion Monument. Once done with the visiting the tourist attractions in Lucerne, head back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Post breakfast, get enthusiastic as memorable experience as your Switzerland tour extends to an excursion to the glacier paradise of Mount Titlis which is the world’s first revolving gondola. Here you will get the opportunity to ride the spectacular ice flyer chairlift and witness the ice grotto. Once done with enjoying your day at Mt. Titlis, head back to Lucerne for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 08 will be your last day of the beautiful Switzerland trip. Post breakfast you will check-out from the hotel and head to airport for your onward journey accompanied with good cherishing memories and great experiences.
