Upon arrival at Zurich Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative, who will help you make your way to Lucerne. On reaching Lucerne, indulge in the check-in formalities in the hotel. After freshening up, the rest of the time will be for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Lucerne.
Rise and shine as this day you will indulge in a sightseeing tour to Lucerne. After having breakfast, head to explore the beautiful town of Switzerland where you will come across the famous tourist attractions including Chapel Bridge which is a wooden footbridge spanning the River Reus, Lion Monument which is a is a giant dying lion carved out of a wall of sandstone, rock and many museums. Once you are done with exploring these tourist spots, stroll around by the lakeside or head to visit the nearby mountains. After you are through with exploring Lucerne, make your way to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
In the morning, post nutritional breakfast, leave for Lugano. As you are on a train journey to Lugano, meanwhile you will experience the new Gotthard Base Tunnel which is the longest tunnel in the world which takes about 17 minutes to travel this fast track route. Upon reaching Lugano, check-in to the hotel. After freshening up, the rest of the time will be for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
As usual, after having a nutritional breakfast, you will head to St. Moritz. To reach the destination you will be travelling by Bernina Express along the UNESCO World Heritage route. Relish a wonderful journey that will take you through the land of swaying palms to one of the towering glaciers. Soon you will reach St. Moritz where you will be staying at night followed by dinner.
This morning post breakfast you will head to Zermatt. Here you will experience one of the greatest rail journeys of the world by boarding the Glacier Express. As you are travelling in the Glacier Express you will get to witness the 291 bridges through 91 tunnels by crossing the Oberalp Pass. Upon reaching Zermatt, check-in into the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
This day, post-breakfast prepare yourself as you will head to the highest cable car station from where you will make a visit to the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Upon reaching the tourist attraction, you will get the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking view of the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. Overnight stay will be in Zermatt.
In the morning, post breakfast you will take the train to Montreux which is a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Upon reaching Montreux, you will be exploring the lakeside town along with its famous Chillon Castle. Once done with spending the entire day in Montreux you will head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Waking up this morning, get ready as you will be heading to Interlaken. You will be travelling on the Golden Pass Line amid various mountain villages and meanwhile, you will get the opportunity to spend some time on the Hoheweg which is a 70 metre main street of Interlaken. On visiting this popular point of interest in Interlaken you will find myriad shops that sell almost everything right from souvenirs to high-end jewellery and watches. Once you are done with exploring Interlaken, head to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Boost up yourself a bit as you will be out on a journey to the Top of Europe i.e. Jungfraujoch. Being one of the main highlights of your visit to Switzerland, Jungfraujoch is Europe’s highest altitude railway station with an elevation of 3454 metres. As you reach there, you will get to witness the high-Alpine wonderworld of ice, snow and rock, which can be marvelled at from vantage terraces. With this, you will even get to witness the Aletsch Glacier and the Ice Palace. Once you are through with exploring the Jungfraujoch, you will head back to the hotel in Interlaken for an overnight stay followed by dinner.
With day 10, you will come to the end of your Best of Switzerland tour. Post breakfast you will head to Zurich taking the train to the lakeside discovery. Upon reaching Zurich, you will check-in into the hotel and spend some time at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Zurich.
Getting up in the morning, post breakfast you will check-out from the hotel and head to Zurich airport for your onward journey accompanied by great experiences from the Switzerland trip.
