Tamchong Lhakhang

Located across the river from Paro to Thimphu, Tamchog Lhakhang is a temple dedicated to the 13th-century saint Thangthong Gyalpo who created the bridge over the river. Even though Tamchog Lhakhang is a private temple but tourists who wish to visit the temple need to take special permission.

Also, one needs to cross the iron chain bridge to reach the tourist attraction which offers a unique experience with its swaying and undulating movements. Not only this but, the surrounding areas of the temple comprising high rocky barren hills makes a good backdrop for a perfect picnic and clicking amazing pictures and gather memories to cherish for a lifetime.
