A large part of Sarpang is a part of Royal Manas National Park, the oldest national park of Bhutan. This is also the only place in the country where you can enjoy a safari. Most of it is also environmentally protected, while the far western part of the district consists of a part of Phibsoo Wildlife Sanctuary. The top attractions here are Gelephu (a region with incredible biodiversity), Gelepu Tshachu (hot springs whose water is believed to cure diseases) and Gelephu Airport. It also hosts the Chuzangang Tshechu.
