Get in touch with our representative at the time of arrival and set off towards the Immigration Formalities with our tour representative. Drive to Thimphu (7710 ft), the capital city of Bhutan.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Post breakfast, visit Kuensel Phodrang, which sits atop a hill and overlooks the Thimphu valley. It is also known as Buddha Point. Then head towards National Memorial Chorten (Monument) & Folk Heritage Museum. In the afternoon, visit Sangaygang Viewpoint, Changangkha Monastery, and Takin Preserve Centre, where houses the Takin, the national animal of Bhutan. In the evening, visit visit Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).
Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Post breakfast, drive towards Punakha and pass Dochu La Pass. Enjoy the views of the Himalayas and visit the 108 stupas, built as a memorial to the Bhutanese soldiers. Drive towards Punakha. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, known as the Temple of the Divine Madman. Next, visit Punakha Dzong, one of the most impressive dzongs in Bhutan. Arrive at the hotel and check in.

Post breakfast, drive from Punakha to Paro. On the way, visit Ta Dzong, which was once a fortified lookout tower but is now a national museum. Walk down the trail and visit the Rinpung Dzong, whose name means, “fortress of the heap of jewels”. The next most famous tourist spot in Punakha which you will visit is Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country.
After breakfast, hike to Pro Tasktang, famously known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery situated at 3180 meters. It is associated with an interesting legend. From the ground, it is about 900 meters high. You will also visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in the 7th century.
