Day 1: Paro Airport to Thimphu
At Paro airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative who’ll be your guide for the day and will transfer you to Thimphu where you’ll check-in to hotel for the overnight stay. Rest of the day will be free for your own leisure time.
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
Today, after having a flavoursome breakfast, we’ll proceed for a sightseeing tour of Thimphu where you’ll visit some of the top attractions like National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Handicraft Center, Takin Zoo, Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Statue, and National Memorial Chorten. Thereafter, in the evening, we’ll visit Clock Tower Square. For the overnight stay, we’ll take you back to your hotel in Thimphu.
Day 3: Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass (85 Km/ 3 Hrs Drive)
On day 3, we’ll undergo a 3-hour drive to Punakha passing through Dochula Pass. On arrival, you’ll be taken to Punakha Dzong – a nature’s blessed place. Rest of the day will be free for your own activities and time. Overnight stay will be provided at the hotel in Punakha.
Day 4: Punakha to Bumthang (217 Km/ 6 Hrs Drive)
Post breakfast, you’ll be taken to the beautiful land of Bumthang through a 6-hour drive from Punakha. As you’ll reach there, we’ll take on a visit to Trongsa Dzong and Ta Dzong. Later in the evening, you’ll be accommodated in the hotel in Bumthang.
Day 5: Bumthang Sightseeing
The morning of day 5 will start with a delectable breakfast. After that, you’ll be taken to explore Jakar Dzong. For the rest of the day, you’ll be free for your own activities and time. Overnight stay will be provided at the hotel in Bumthang.
Day 6: Bumthang to Wangdue (202 Km/ 5 Hrs Drive)
On this day, we’ll leave Bumthang in order to proceed our 5-hour drive to Wangdue followed by check-in to the hotel on arrival for overnight stay and visit to Bumthang Matha local shops. From there, you’ll be free to do whatever for rest of the day.
Day 7: Wangdue to Paro (112 Km/ 3 Hrs Drive)
After a nutritious breakfast, you’ll head towards Paro which will be a 112 km drive. On arrival, visit Royal Botanical Park which forms a perfect backdrop of Dochula Pass. Later, our journey will next halt ruins of Drukgyel Dzong and the base of Tiger Nest. For the overnight stay, you’ll be accommodated in the hotel at Paro
Day 8: Paro Sightseeing
Day 8 of this beautiful tour will be all about the sightseeing tour of Paro where we’ll cover some top attractions like National Museum and Paro Dzong. After visiting these attractions, you’ll be free for your own leisure time.
Day 9: Departure
After relishing your time in the 9-day long tour, we’ll sum-up this voyage with a hope to serve you again. After having the breakfast, we’ll transfer you to the airport to board your flight back home.
