While looking for new travel places to talk about with you all, I came across Vietnam and you know what happened next, this blog! All my head thinks and thinks is that how can be a destination so charismatic and an all-rounder. A Southeast Asian country which has been blessed with everything whether it be innumerable natural wonders in the form of islands, sand dunes, valleys, mountains, rivers or astounding architecture like monuments, cities, temples and more has to be on every traveller’s bucket list. And the ones who don’t really take the road to mesmerising tourist destinations, here are 10 reasons why you should visit Vietnam. This trip is going to be topsy turvy, so brace yourself.

1. To Witness the Cau Vang bridge

Cau Vang Bridge

So you must have been already taken by surprise by the picture, isn’t it? Cau Vang Bridge or what some call Golden Bridge is the newest addition to the astounding beauty of Vietnam. Sitting atop a mountain, this 150 m long pedestrian bridge is the first reason that you should plan a visit to Vietnam. As you walk along with many other tourists, the flowers blooming add a refreshing feel and so do the hands holding the bridge! The hands that hold the bridge at 1400 m above the sea level are symbolic of mountain deity embracing something.

Out of the many reasons that backpackers praise Northern Vietnam, Sa Pa is one among them. If you ask me, I scrolled and scrolled the pictures of Sa Pa but couldn’t get enough. The rice paddies, valley walls and mighty mountains might make you feel a new kind of love but the trekking trails that lead to new heights at Sa Pa are otherworldly. Adventure lovers who have done tough treks before are the only ones who can take the challenges that Sa Pa offers. There are treks that are as short as half day and can extend to 2 days or more.

The skilled tailors here can turn your dream outfit be it menswear or womenswear into reality that too within 24-48 hours. So, polish your bargaining skills and set off to Hoi An in Vietnam. Also, if you are not that into custom made clothes, then there are shops where you can find great quality outfits.

Of the several beaches in Vietnam one can make castles or spend a peaceful time at, Nha Trang Beach is my personal favourite. For visitors, this beach features the goodness of nature which it offers in the form of shimmering white sand stretching as far as one can see. And also, it doesn’t miss out on adding the modern touch with its parks and gardens. Once here, activities like snorkelling, kite surfing, banana boat rides, wakeboarding can be revelled in.
