Lachen serves as the base for the two other best places to visit in Lachung i.e.; Chopta Valley and Gurudongmar Lake. Yumthang Valley

The Yumthang Valley is the top tourist attraction in Lachung which is located at a height of 3500 meters above sea level. This valley is also popularly known as the ‘Valley of Flowers’ in the North-East. The beauty of the valley manifolds with the Teesta River flowing through its difficult terrain. One can also take a halt at a famous hot spring which is about 1km from Yumthang Valley. While passing through the roads of the valley you will come across beautiful Shingba Rhododendron trees. Green Lake
