Well, in the last week of January, Taalbelia, a music, art and food festival is being held in Mandawa of Shekhawati Region by the initiative of marketing agency, Event Crafter, in joint collaboration with the Royal Family of Mandawa; and it does look quite promising!

This event will take place between December 23 and 25, 2017.
Where is Taalbelia Festival Being Held?
The festival will be held in Mandawa Town, Jhunjhunu District in Shekhawati Region of Rajasthan. Two venues – Castle Mandawa and Desert Resort have been fixed for this festival.
What to Expect at Taalbelia Festival?
Expect four days, three stages and about 30 gigs by artists of different music genres like contemporary, classical and folk. Along with it, will be the opportunity to enjoy adventure activities, gastronomica, Rajasthani art, workshops and royal hospitality all through the day and EDM and underground music by the night.
The festival is also keen to organize workshops for visitors who can choose to stand behind the console and jam with the DJs or learn the art of pottery or play the Morchang. Visitors will also have the chance to get acquainted with horses at the royal stables; learn about the rhythm of the Khartaal and the skill of making Rajasthani Lac bangles. For the adventurists at heart, there are also options of sand surfing and dirt biking. Meanwhile, the epicureans can enjoy the Gourmet Fiesta on offer at the festival. Since the Shekhawati Region takes pride in its culinary delights, one is likely to get the best options to treat his taste buds. Season specials like dry vegetables, bajra and corn along with traditional preparations such as Raab, Gatte ki Sabzi, Kachri ki Lunji, Pithod Pyaaz ki Sabzi, and popular non-vegetarian Shekhawati dishes are likely to be in the menu. However, the gourmet fiesta will not be limited to only Rajasthani cuisine, one would be able to enjoy world cuisines such as Middle Asian, Mongolian and Mexican as well.
